Editor Troubleshooting

Find your symptom, apply the fix. If nothing here matches, contact support from Settings > Help & Feedback.

Opening the editor

SymptomFix
The editor asks you to sign inYour session expired. Sign in again and it returns you to the editor.
The editor will not open and offers "Try again"It could not confirm your session. Check your connection and retry. The editor stays closed until it can, so nobody else's work opens on a shared browser.
Something looks broken after an updateReload the page. The editor picks up its newest version on load.
Features are missing or the preview is blankUse Chrome or Edge 113 or newer, keep hardware acceleration on, and update your graphics drivers.

Projects and storage

SymptomFix
"Changed on another device"The same project was edited somewhere else. The version on the device you are using is kept. Finish here, save, and it becomes the copy your account holds.
A save could not reach your accountThe edit is safe in this browser, and the editor retries on your next save.
A project you expected is missingCheck the Trash section, and make sure you are signed in as the same account. Trash is per device, so restore it where you deleted it.
Browser storage is nearly fullDelete media you no longer need, clear proxies and the project cache in Settings > Storage, and delete old files from Saved exports.

Media

SymptomFix
"Added on this device only"The file is not a type your Media Library takes (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV, AAC), or it is over the size ceiling. The clip still works here, but it will not follow your account.
Missing MediaThis happens to files you linked from your disk rather than uploaded. Use Grant Access, Locate, Locate Folder, or Browse Another Folder to relink.
Clips missing after opening a project elsewhereFiles that came from your Media Library are fetched back automatically. Anything imported from another device's disk has to be added again there.
Import failed, or an unsupported codecTry a browser-supported format, or transcode the file first.
Import from URL failsThe link has to point at the media file itself, not a page that shows it.
Stale previews or waveformsRegenerate thumbnails or proxies, or clear the project cache in Settings > Storage.

Effects and AI

SymptomFix
Effects, scopes, or AI tools unavailableYour browser's GPU support is off or unsupported. Use recent Chrome or Edge, update your drivers, and keep hardware acceleration on.
A model download is slow or failsKeep the tab open, retry on a stable connection, and clear the Local AI Model Cache if a download is corrupt.
Out of memory during AI workUse Unload Local Models to release the runtimes.
LUT import blockedImporting a .cube LUT needs a Chromium-based browser.

Export

SymptomFix
Codec unavailable in preflightChoose another codec or container, or lower the resolution or quality.
Background export unavailableKeep the tab focused and avoid heavy interaction. Replacing animated image items with video clips can help.
Large or slow exportExport a shorter in/out range, lower the resolution or quality, and free disk space first.
Export will not startClear the blocking preflight warning, then try a short range to confirm the rest works.
An export finished but you cannot find the fileOpen the Render queue dialog and look under Saved exports, then Download it. Those files live in this browser only.
