Shots

The Shots node is where you pick the shot types you want, such as a close-up, a wide shot or a low angle. Connect it to an Agent, and the Agent writes those shots into the prompts it makes for your Image and Video nodes.

Every pick is a picture, so you see what a shot looks like before you choose it. They are the same shots as in Camera Shots in the Creative Hub.

What it does

This node only hands your picks to an Agent. It has no model, costs nothing, and never receives a connection from another node.

Output: a single Styles handle. It connects to the Styles input of an Agent and nowhere else.

Picking shots

The card has four tabs, each with its own picture tiles:

  • Size: how much of the subject you see, from Extreme Wide to Extreme Close-Up.
  • Angle: where the camera sits, such as Eye Level, Low Angle or Overhead.
  • Framing: Two Shot, Over the Shoulder, POV or Insert.
  • Composition: how the frame is arranged, such as Rule of Thirds or Symmetry.

Click a tile to pick it, and click it again to take it out. You can pick several in every tab, and each tab shows how many picks it holds.

What the Agent does with them

The Agent builds your shots into the image and video prompts it writes, in the wording the Creative Hub uses for each one. A prompt gets one pick from a tab. When a tab holds several, the Agent decides which prompt gets which, spreads them over the prompts it writes, and changes them from run to run.

A tab with nothing picked is left to the Agent.

Using it

  1. Add a Shots node to your canvas.
  2. Pick the shots you want.
  3. Connect its Styles output to the Styles input of an Agent.

There's no Run button on this node, since there's nothing to generate. Use the bar under the card to rename it, switch it off for a while, or delete it.
