Sequence

The Sequence node puts multiple sources into one ordered list and outputs them as a single track, either a video sequence or an audio sequence.

Inputs and outputs

  • Media: unlike most nodes, you can wire several different upstream nodes into this one input. Each connected node becomes a row you can drag to reorder.
  • Sequence or Audio (output): the label follows whichever mode is active.

Valid sources for the Media input are any node that produces a video or image, or any node that produces audio, for example Video Generation, Image Generation, Lipsync, Compose, Replace Background, Split Screen, Media Library, Router, or Voice Generation. Text nodes cannot feed a Sequence.

Sequence has no Flow input.

How it works

Sequence behaves differently depending on what's connected:

  1. Multiple sources (the normal case): each connected node is its own row. Drag rows to reorder them, or focus a row and use the Up/Down arrow keys.
  2. A single Media Library: if the only thing connected is one Media Library node, Sequence instead lists and reorders that library's individual items rather than the node itself. A Visuals / Audio switch appears on the card showing whichever media types are in the library, it only lets you switch between them when the library holds both.

Settings

  • Sequence settings: shown once there's something to arrange. Lists "In sequence" (current members, each removable) and "Excluded" (nodes still connected but left out of the sequence, which you can add back at any time). Removing a node from the sequence here keeps it on the canvas, it's just skipped when the sequence is built.

Tips

  • If exactly one source is connected, the card shows a hint to connect at least two.
  • If your Sequence feeds a Compose node, it needs at least two items or the run is blocked before it starts. A Sequence used on its own, or with just one item, does not have this requirement.
  • If none of the connected nodes have produced usable output yet, run them first, then the Sequence.
