Audio Upload
The Audio Upload node holds audio files you upload or pick from your Media Library, and sends all of them into your workflow. It only takes audio. For pictures and videos there are the Image Upload and Video Upload nodes.
Inputs and outputs
- No inputs. Audio Upload is a source, so it can start a workflow on its own.
- Audio (output): every audio file the node holds.
Adding audio
- Click the card or Add audio to open the side panel. Under Upload, click the field to pick audio files from your computer, or drop them on it. Under Import from Media, click Import to pick them from your Media Library. You can also drop audio files onto the card.
- Add as many as you like. The card shows the first track's name, with a badge that counts them ("2 tracks").
- Below those, the side panel lists each file with its name and a Remove button.
- The node takes MP3, WAV and AAC files up to 50 MB each. Any other file is named under the card and not added, for example: "clip.mp4" can't be added. This node takes MP3, WAV, AAC audio files.
- Audio you upload is saved to your Media Library too.
Uploading
- While files upload, the card shows how far along they are ("Uploading 42%", then "Finishing…"), or how many are on the way ("3 files uploading").
- A file that doesn't upload stays on the card in red, marked "Didn't upload", and is never sent to a run. Open the list to see why, remove it, and add it again.
- Run waits for uploads: while a file is still uploading, you're asked to wait for it to finish.
Where it connects
Audio Upload connects only to inputs that play audio: Lipsync's Audio, Voice Generation's Voice Ref (on voice models that clone a voice), Compose's Voiceover and Audio, Video Generation's Reference Audio (on models that listen to audio), a Sequence in audio mode, a Router and an Output.
Every file goes out on every run, so the node only connects where none would be lost:
- An input that takes one audio track, like Lipsync's Audio, connects only while the node holds one file. With more, the wire won't connect, and a note next to your pointer says why: "Audio takes one audio track, but Audio Upload holds 2."
- Once it's wired to such an input, the node takes one file. A note under the card says so, and the Upload field and the Import button in the side panel turn off once it holds one.
Tips
- To join several tracks in order, connect the node to a Sequence in audio mode, or to Compose's Voiceover or Audio input.
