Screenwriter

The Screenwriter node turns a video idea into a finished screenplay in one step. It is the Creative Hub Screenwriter without the chat: it follows the same writing instructions, asks nothing back, and hands the script to the next node as text.

Inputs and outputs

Inputs (both optional): Prompt, and a generic Flow input for connecting from earlier nodes.

Output: a single Text handle. Connect it to any input that reads text, such as an Agent's Text input, an LLM's Prompt or Texts input, or a Voice Generation node's Text input.

Writing your idea

Type your idea into the box at the bottom of the card ("Describe your video..."). If the Prompt input is connected from another node, this box is disabled and shows "Prompt connected from input" instead, and the node writes from the text that arrives there.

The node asks no questions, so put what matters to you into the idea itself: the kind of video, how long it should be, the look, and whether the characters talk. Its instructions tell it to make its own choices for anything you leave out, and to write for 1 minute when you give no length. A script is for a video of 1 to 5 minutes.

The screenplay appears in a scrollable area at the top of the card. Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard.

To change the script, change your idea and run the node again. If you want ideas to pick from, or to revise a script line by line, use Screenwriter in the Creative Hub.

Choosing a model

Click the model picker in the settings bar to search and choose a model. The default model is GPT-5.6 Luna.

The node runs on Atlas Cloud with your own key, like every node that writes text.

Running the node

Select the node to reveal its Run button in the top right corner of the card. It works the same way as on the LLM node.

Click the Inputs / Outputs button (an eye icon) at any time to see exactly what went into this node and what came out.
