Media Library

The Media Library is where all your images, videos, and audio live. Upload your own files, organize them into folders, and pull them straight into your workflows. Anything your workflows generate lands here too, so everything stays in one place.

Uploading files

  1. Go to Studio and open Media Library.
  2. Drag and drop files anywhere on the page, or click the "Upload" button to pick files from your device.
  3. You can upload several files at once. While they upload, the Upload button shows "Uploading (n)".
  4. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, WebP, and AVIF for images; MP4 and MOV for video; MP3, WAV, and AAC for audio. If a file is the wrong type, you will see a red error message instead of an upload.

Organizing your files

Every file appears as a card with a thumbnail, its name, and a menu (the "…" icon) with options to rename, move, or delete it.

  • Rename: click the file name, or choose "Rename" from the card menu. Type the new name and press Enter, or click away to save it.
  • Delete: choose "Delete" from the card menu. You can also select several files at once and delete them together from the toolbar.
  • Tag: add tags to a file so it is easier to find later.
  • Move to folder: choose "Move to folder" from the card menu to file it away.

Folders

Click "New Folder" to create a folder and give it a name. You can rename or delete folders from their own menu. Deleting a folder also deletes everything inside it, so double check before you confirm.

You will see two kinds of folders, each marked with a badge:

  • Custom: folders you created yourself. You can nest Custom folders inside other Custom folders, as deep as you like, and breadcrumbs at the top of the page always show where you are.
  • Workflow: created automatically to hold the results a workflow generates. A Workflow folder is flat, meaning every generated file sits directly inside it rather than being split into sub-folders. Use the type and source filters (below) if you want to narrow down what you're looking at inside one.

You can only create a new folder while viewing the root ("All") view or while inside a Custom folder. You cannot create a folder inside a Workflow folder.

Finding files

  • Search: type in the search box to filter by file name or tag. This searches only within the folder you're currently viewing.
  • Filter chips: narrow the view by file type (All, Images, Video, Audio) or by source (All Sources, Uploads, Generated).
  • Sort: order files by Newest or Oldest.
  • View: switch between Grid and List view with the toggle at the top of the page.

The root ("All") view only shows files that are not filed into any folder. Open a folder to see what's inside it.

How generated results get here

When a workflow finishes running, its results are saved automatically. On the Output node in your workflow, the "Save to Workflow Folder" setting is turned on by default, so results are filed into that workflow's own Workflow folder. Turn this setting off if you would rather have results land unfiled in the root ("All") view instead.

Files a workflow generates are marked "Generated" in the source filter, so you can tell them apart from files you uploaded yourself.

Using your media in a workflow

Drag a "Media Library" node onto your workflow canvas. Its settings panel lets you browse your library and add existing files straight into the workflow, no re-uploading needed.

Using AI assistants

If you connect an AI assistant through MCP (see Settings, MCP Server), it can browse, search, upload files from a URL, rename, tag, move, and delete your media on your behalf, using the same actions described above.
