Compose

The Compose node assembles a finished short video from your pieces: a main clip or sequence, optional cutaway footage, an optional voiceover, and optional background music. It renders everything into one downloadable video.

Inputs and outputs

Compose has four inputs, all optional except Sequence:

  • Sequence: the base track. A Sequence node feeding this works best, but a single Image, Video, or Lipsync clip also works, and a Media Library node with several clips feeds them all in order.
  • B-Roll: optional cutaway footage.
  • Voiceover: optional narration audio.
  • Audio: optional background music.
  • Video (output): the finished, rendered video.

Compose does not have a Flow input. Each of the four inputs is automatically treated as "on" once you wire something into it, you never need to switch them on yourself.

If nothing reaches the Sequence input, the run stops and asks you to connect a source there.

Settings

  • Aspect ratio: choose 9:16, 16:9, or 4:5. This also sets the output size (1080x1920, 1920x1080, or 1080x1350).
  • Composition settings: opens a panel with these sections:
    • Levels: a "Keep original audio" toggle, plus volume sliders for Video, B-Roll, Voiceover, and Music.
    • B-Roll: how many cutaways to use (Auto, or a fixed number from 1 to 10) and how long each one plays (2 to 5 seconds). B-Roll placement is fully automatic, your composed audio is transcribed and each cutaway is matched to where it's spoken. There is no manual script or timing field.
    • Images: how long a still image is held on screen when it's part of your Sequence (1 to 15 seconds, default 5).
    • Transitions: off by default. Turn it on to pick a style (Crossfade, Fade, or a Slide direction) and duration. One style applies to every cut in the video.
    • Music: fade in and fade out sliders for your background music.
    • A "Reset to defaults" button restores everything in this panel.

Tips

  • You can feed the Sequence input with a Sequence node, a single clip, or a Media Library holding multiple clips, Compose stitches a multi-clip library into an ordered sequence automatically.
  • Once a result exists, the Download button on the card becomes active.
