Google Drive & Dropbox
Connect your Google Drive or Dropbox account to bring files into your workflows and send finished results straight back out to them. This page covers connecting, importing, exporting, and disconnecting.
Connecting your account
- Go to Studio, then Settings, then the "Connected Accounts" tab.
- You'll see two cards: Google Drive and Dropbox.
- Click "Connect" on either card. You'll be sent to that provider's own sign-in and permission screen.
- Approve access, and you'll be brought back to Settings. The card now shows "Connected" along with the email of the account you connected.
Google Drive asks for permission to see files you create or pick with 60 Minute Creator, plus permission to show thumbnails when you're picking files from your wider Drive. Dropbox asks for permission to read and write your files.
Disconnecting
Click "Disconnect" on either card. This removes the connection and also asks Google or Dropbox to revoke 60 Minute Creator's access on their end, not just locally. You'll see a confirmation message ("Google Drive disconnected." or "Dropbox disconnected.") and the card returns to its "Connect" state. If you reconnect later, you'll be asked to approve access again.
Importing files into a workflow
Cloud import happens from inside a workflow, not from the Media Library page itself.
- Open a workflow and add a "Media Library" node to the canvas.
- Open that node's settings panel. You'll see chips for "Library", "Drive", and "Dropbox".
- Click "Drive" or "Dropbox". If you're connected, the provider's own file picker opens so you can choose files.
- Picked files are downloaded and added to your Media Library like any other file, ready to use in the workflow.
If you haven't connected that provider yet, the panel shows a message like "Google Drive is not connected" or "Dropbox is not connected" with a button to connect it right there.
If your Google Drive connection is older or has expired, you may see a message asking you to reconnect, for example "Your Google Drive connection expired. Reconnect your account to keep importing files." Click the button provided to reconnect from Settings.
If a file cannot be imported, you'll see a clear error message explaining why, instead of the file just failing silently.
Exporting workflow results
On an Output node in your workflow, choose a destination:
- Download: sends the finished file to your device when the run completes.
- Media Library: saves it in your project's Media Library.
- Google Drive: uploads it to your connected Google Drive.
- Dropbox: uploads it to your connected Dropbox.
Exported files are organized into a folder named after your workflow (or a custom name you set), and you can choose to further split results into a separate folder per run. You can also set a naming template for the exported files.
Running the same workflow again reuses the same folder and does not create duplicate files if a file with the same name already exists there.
If a connection is missing or has expired
If you try to import a file and the connection isn't set up or has expired, you'll see a message like "Your Google Drive / Dropbox connection expired or is not connected. Connect it in Settings, Connected Accounts, and try again."
If you try to export to Google Drive or Dropbox without a working connection, the run fails and the error tells you the account isn't connected or needs reconnecting.
Using AI assistants
If you connect an AI assistant through MCP (see Settings, MCP Server), it can browse your connected Google Drive or Dropbox and import or export files on your behalf, the same way described above.
